Product Update - 🔍 Global search, extract panel, and unit tests in Pipeline Editor

Three updates shipping together this week! One that affects how you navigate the whole product, and two that expand what you can do inside the Pipeline Editor.

Here's what's new 👇

🌐 Global search across Kleene

You can now search across the entire product from one place. Sources, extracts, transforms, file ingests, webforms — all of it is findable from the search bar in the navigation panel, wherever you are in the app.

No more jumping between sections to track something down. Type what you're looking for and it surfaces directly.

📦 Extract panel in Pipeline Editor

The Pipeline Editor search now includes extracts. You can find any extract two ways:

• Type its name in the search bar
• Browse the Extract directory

Previously you could search transforms and tables. Extracts are now part of the same experience.

🧪 Unit tests in Pipeline Editor

You can now create and run unit tests directly inside the Pipeline Editor without leaving your workflow.

• Click Add Unit Test on any transform
• The Unit Test panel opens
• Add one or more tests, save, and run them

This keeps testing where the work happens — no switching context to validate your transforms.
